Introducing AVR's Case Study Series!

The Case Study Series provides practical problem-solving exercises to address common ethical and operational challenges unique to animal care professions. Based on real-life scenarios, these case studies are useful to both novice and seasoned animal care employees as well as newcomers to the field interested in learning more about the realities of animal welfare work. Organized by profession, they are also an invaluable tool to organizations and educational institutions in fostering open dialogue and discussion, and facilitating policy-making and program evaluation. Questions and analysis are designed to encourage a comprehensive and innovative approach to problem-solving, and proposed resolutions are included to illustrate potential outcomes and to serve as a jumping off point for the users’ own creative solutions that fit their specific needs.
